Lilith de Jonge

Lilith de Jonge is a visual artist specializing in the creation of abstract paintings. She developed her creative talents at the Academy of Fine Arts in Ghent, where she graduated in 1997 in Graphic and Advertising Design. After working in the graphic design sector for a period, she shifted her focus to capturing natural impressions and emotions on canvas. While painting, the Zeeland coastlines are captured on canvas in an abstract manner. Just as the beach, the sea, and the sky are constantly in motion, Lilith’s artworks move along with this wave of changing natural elements. This results in a beautiful variety of artworks, ranging from soothing to highly dynamic. The starting point remains to step away from reality and allow natural atmospheres to come to life in an abstract way. The artworks offer multiple perspectives, and depending on the light, new atmospheres emerge. Her work can be admired at various exhibitions and at Galerie Zeevonk in Domburg.
